Mit Dora meinen Vortrag vorzubereiten war eine Erfahrung, aus der ich sehr viel mitgenommen habe. Die Zusammenarbeit zeichnete sich insbesondere durch die Verbindung von zwei Aspekten aus: Erstens durch ein kritisches Feedback, das Schwachstellen messerscharf analysiert und genau benennt. Und zweitens durch ebenso genau passende Vorschläge zur Verbesserung und Weiterentwicklung. Dadurch entstand eine ungemein produktive Zusammenarbeit, die mich immer wieder motiviert hat, mehr zu erreichen.

Es hat viel Freude gemacht mit Dora zusammen zu arbeiten. Sie geht auf die Wünsche ihrer Kunden individuell ein und bewahrt auch in unvorhergesehen Situationen einen kühlen Kopf. Sie beherrscht einen professionellen Moderationsstil sowohl auf Deutsch als auch Englisch.

I found working with Dora useful and productive. My talk was aimed at a much more general audience than I am accustomed to speaking to as a scientist. Dora helped refine my talk, pointing out technical jargon and suggesting simpler ways to display or portray the same ideas. She was very good at finding easy-to-understand ways to communicate difficult concepts and coming up with great phrases to help keep attention. She managed to do all this while still recognizing the effort the speaker put into the preparation and making me feel appreciated. I genuinely enjoyed the feedback and working with her to produce the best talk possible.

I greatly profited from being coached by Dora. Her input made my talk more informative and comprehensible. Dora combines the utmost in professionalism with a very engaging manner and great insights into content and delivery. I look forward to working with her in the future.

I had a very positive experience with Dora and the curation team at TEDxTUM. Dora was clearly the thought leader in the team, working closely with me and her team over many months to ensure that my talk would be at the highest level, with clear focus and purpose. I was and still am impressed by the dedication, professionalism and attention the team spent on the development of my talk. As lecturer and consultant, I am frequently in presentation mode and workshops. But working with the team around Dora made me focus even better on my topics to tell. Especially Dora’s broad field of interest paired with her knowledge and ability to point on the one meaningful, core thing, is outstanding. It is certainly one of the causes for achieving such high quality in talks and topics. In the huge field of conferences and talks around the globe, Dora is making the difference.

Die Arbeit mit dem TEDxTUM Team lief sehr professionell und zugleich unkompliziert ab. Das Team hat mir sehr geholfen, mein Thema, in dem ich ja fast schon betriebsblind bin, auf eine Art aufzubereiten, dass es auch für Nicht-Experten spannend und unterhaltsam ist. Gerade das sehr spezifische und konstruktive Feedback während der Rehearsals fand ich super und half mir, zielgerichtet und effizient an meinem Vortrag zu feilen. The collaboration with Dora was simply a great experience. She is very organized, incredibly smart and has a great personality – with a very good sense of humor, which is very welcome in today’s corporate environments. It’s fun to work with her, she is able to coordinate a team and collaborate with different types of people in tasks so that the end results is just what it needs to be.

Dora’s help was vital to adapt to a specific target audience, to have the right angle and the right approach. It also helped to improve my skills in being on stage and performing at my best. The best part was the feedback in rehearsals and the passion put into enhancing the entire experience by fine tuning the speech, especially interpreting the story behind the idea in addition to the technical side of it.

Wir haben sie als äußerst zuverlässige und kompetente Moderatorin und Trainerin im Bereich der Wissenschaftskommunikation kennengelernt. Auch in den Kursevaluationen wird ihre positive, engagierte Art von den Kursteilnehmer/innen gelobt. Neben ihren fachlichen Kompetenzen zeichnet sich Dora durch ihre Teamfähigkeit, Kreativität und Begeisterungsfähigkeit aus.

Overall, I’ve had a great time working with Dora and her team during my preparations for a TEDx talk. I received a huge amount of very useful analysis, feedback, and guidance over the course of several coaching sessions. I especially liked the way in which Dora manages to give critical feedback in a very constructive and supportive manner. I think my presentation and performance improved significantly over the course of the sessions, so I’m very happy with the outcome.

Describing a complex topic in max. 2 minutes is so tough! We wanted to shoot a few short videos explaining our startup to the world without losing the interest of our audience. With basically no media experience. Thanks to Dora and her brilliant job we did it! She helped us sharpen the storyline, prioritize what to explain, and how to present it in front of a camera. Her tech background and patience with us was the icing on the cake!

For my talk at TEDxTUM, Dora was the one that found the story in me and helped me formulate my idea worth spreading, to inspire others. During he months of preparation she patiently went though my talk again and again, shaping it into a talk I can be proud of. Thank you Dora!

I was fortunate to have worked with Dora and her team when I participated as a speaker in the TEDxTUM 2016 event.
